This is stunning, my friend! The imagery of being “stuck in the light-years” felt like such a poignant metaphor for grief, distance, and holding on to memory. There’s a delicate tension in these lines, between weight and flight, silence and longing. “Squeezing every tiny glow to make a sound”, what a powerful depiction of trying to find your voice in the dark. There’s such a calming rhythm to this, like the gentle rituals of preparing a meal and savoring time itself. I love how you captured the kitchen as both sanctuary and creative space. “I slow the clock and sip my wine”, that line alone felt like a deep exhale. Beautifully done. 🥰❤️🤗🫶🏻✨️
